The dreaded Witch-King of Angmar beats on the very gates of Fornost itself. The provinces of Rhudaur and Cardolan have already fallen to his dark armies. The great fortress of Fornost stands as the last hope of the North to defeat these vile armies and the Witch-King himself. There is no chance of help. The elves are to far away, Bree is being sieged on its own, and the dark southerners care not for the tidings of Arthedain. Worse still, the Witch-King has his full might. Black Numenorians and half trolls from Angmar, dark wolves and spiders from Rhudaur, shades and wights from the now defiled Cardolan; all now follow the Witch-King on his conquest. All there is too stop him is Fornost and the brave men who guard its walls. The Dwarves, strangely, were already within the fortress, looking for a gem mine in the ancient tunnels. They have supplied their support and a great Earth-Hammer. The Witch-King and his lieutenants will be among the Fields of Fornost in two days time. Stragglers of all races can be found in both armies. Will you fight for good, or evil?
