The year is 2025. Not much has changed in the past few decades, well according to expectations at least. Cars are still confined to the ground and robots are still bound to our commands. Although, one significant development in the course of history was started in a small garage in California in 2011. A group of Stanford graduates start up a software company called Machina inc. They soon make one of the greatest technological advances of this century, AI.
Machina Inc shot to the top of not only the computer science community, but the whole world! They out did Microsoft and Apple literally overnight. It was only a matter of time before they got into the field of robotics and other longshot ideas. Hey it worked once right?
By 2016 they were cranking out bi-ped robots that looked similar to some old Isaac Asimov story to film adaption. In 2020 they unveil their first version of virtual reality simulators. With true AI technology, 5 different "realms" players can traverse, and realsense
stimulation the first product line goes for $5000 a unit.
After several several revisions and model updates the 5th edition presently only costs $950. It was well over 100 unique worlds and 100% less malfunction related fatalities.
